Heritage Brands And Surfing Australia Debut 2XP Sunscreen
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 January, 2018 - Coolangatta - Heritage Brands and Surfing Australia are excited to announce the launch of 2XP, Australia’s ultimate in protection and performance.
Surfing Australia tested, and retested, all sunscreen formulations before landing on the perfect combination of protection and long-lasting performance, in fragrance-free, paraben free formulas that won’t irritate the skin or eyes, or leave a greasy feel on the skin or hands.
All 2XP sunscreens are Australian-made, SPF50+, 4-hour water resistant and offer very high protection against both UVA + UVB rays. The ultimate barrier to help prevent free radical damage caused by the prolonged exposure all surfers suffer.
Constantine Gendis, Chief Executive Officer Heritage Brands says, “Through our close partnership with Surfing Australia, we have developed a range of SPF50+ and after sun products that offer exceptional elemental protection and post-exposure care for Australia’s elite and recreational athletes.”
“We are proud to be working with Surfing Australia, an organisation so closely aligned with our culture and ethos, to bring the very best Australian made SPF products to market.”
As part of the collaboration with Surfing Australia, 2XP will become a support partner of the Weet-Bix SurfGroms Program, Woolworths Surfer Groms Comps presented by Wahu, nudie
Australian Boardriders Battle, Surfing Australia National Titles including the Surf Dive ‘N Ski Australian Junior Titles, nudie Australian Adaptive Titles, Australian SUP Titles and the Hurley Surfing Australia High Performance Centre.
Surfing Australia's CEO Andrew Stark said:“Surfing Australia is proud to be partnered with one of Australia’s leading wellness and beauty companies to launch an SPF50+ elemental protection range developed specifically for the extreme Australian outdoors. Heritage Brands and Surfing Australia have together launched 2XP which aims to protect against the intense conditions; more so those conditions that surfers have to face on a daily basis – water, wind, sand and sun! Being a sport that is consumed outdoors, we understand the importance of sun safety and want to ensure all surfers are taking care every time they get in the surf."
2XP will also be highly visible on Surfing Australia’s digital platforms and the Hurley Surfing Australia High-Performance Centre (HPC) where it will be available to everyone from recreational camp participants to Australian Surfing team members.
